No matter how easily that Cap fell, its still a dumb, egoistic and undisciplined penalty by Boyle

Who cares? It's the ****ing playoffs. I'm sorry, but you let that garbage go. Especially when Ribs has a delayed reaction to the "pain." It was utter ******** -- especially with Boyle getting mugged right in front of the ref that called it.

Especially on home ice, even more so during the playoffs, it's hard for the ref to not blow the whistle. The problem is if the ref makes a bad diving call in a big game, like during the Winter Classic, everybody be all over him for his horrendous call. So how, as a ref in the playoffs, do you call dives without making yourself look like an idiot?

As I said earlier, I think the best way is to do something like what the NBA does in after the fact, the league penalizes the diver. With not much reason to not flop like Ovechkin did, why not turn the ice into a stage?
