Lundqvist is by far the best goalie the franchise has ever had. Hank had an answer to people like you before the playoffs started. Something along the lines of look at my Swedish career and my international career, I don't need to prove anything to anyone in the playoffs. The problem is not Hank and if Hank had the 94 team in front of him he absolutely has a cup by now.

The NHL needs to get with the program. The NFL and MLB both allow challenges because they know that refs in general completely suck. They aren't going to improve, so you might as well give coaches challenges, so when the refs completely **** up, it won't decide the game.

Challenges in the NHL would be pointless...all goals are already reviewed and you can't review potential penalties so it would accomplish nothing at all.

I can't see why anyone is blaming Hank. I'm one of his harshest critics, but I think he's played well. He could have saved the first goal, but it wasn't going to be a routine save. The second goal he was interfered with. Can't blame him for a **** up by the referee.

anyone who doesn't recognize how unbelievable Richter was in 94 is ignorant. There are very few goalies who do what Richter did. Rangers don't make it past the Devils without Richter.

Richter has hardware because he had a dominant team in front of him. Let me know which team since 94 has come close to that group's talent level. Richter also arguably blew a cup for Rangers in 92. Even in 94 he gave up the tying goal late in game seven of the ECFs that almost torpedoed the season.
