The won a game for us in game 1, continued in game 2 but to a lesser degree, halted in games 3-7 in round one and failed to win us games when it matters. The next step in the evolution is obviously losing us games because we're losing more momentum on the power play than the Penguins can muster up without our help.

The refs aren't the reason the Rangers blew a 2 goal lead. Hell, calls have gone against Pittsburgh tonight as well.

The PP is terrible. If they had even an average PP, they'd probably be winning right now.

The Rangers had a bad 2nd period. It happens. They're tied and can still win the game.

The NHL needs to get with the program. The NFL and MLB both allow challenges because they know that refs in general completely suck. They aren't going to improve, so you might as well give coaches challenges, so when the refs completely **** up, it won't decide the game.

Different eras. But I will say he used to at least have lights out games. Then he'd be garbage the other games. I don't care what his stats are.

This was my fear though. We've made it SO EASY for him.

Again, the team needs to throw the puck on net and crash the net.

They need to do what made them successful in the 1st. Throw the puck to the net. Forecheck and hit everything that moves along the boards. I didn't see Pitt adjusting defensively to the Rangers game. They picked up momentum and the pace after the Rangers power play and the Rangers didn't step up and counter. They backed down. I believe they'll come out with urgency in the 3rd. They have to or this is going to be painful.
