Missing a whopping five games shouldn't throw a player that off.

I don't know why everyone is just ruling out the fact he might just be playing poorly.

As if McDonagh is immune to poor play. Everyone is saying its his injury to reassure themselves that he just cannot be possibly playing this poorly.

It's possible he is hurting, or he is in a genuine slump, or a combination of both.

But his hockey IQ has not been there. Too many brain dead plays for a mild shoulder sprain. And that's all it can be. If it was anything serious like a significant tear in the labrum/rotator cuff he would be an idiot to be playing.

You don't think it's any coincidence that McD hasn't looked like the McD we know since that injury?

Yeah - Henrik had a .926 save % that game. He's only at .943 this game. Wait...

I specifically talk about the game saver he pulled off. I was soultaking.

No doubt Hank is 1st star for us so far. The 2nd goal, he did everything he could, without injuring himself.

Strange but TRUE!!!
He can't still be "adjusting"? Can he? LOL!!!
"It's so hard getting adapted to my new setting"
It's elfin hockey.

Haha it hasn't been all playoffs though. He makes 5.6 mill compared Nash with his 7.8 million for a "shutdown" forward lol

The rangers are very slow on their shot releases. If they shoot the puck faster they probably score more
