It was pretty bad vis-a-vis Devil/Ranger fans tonight. I thought maybe the bad old days were over after last year but tonight it was AT BEST 65/35.

You ain't got no problem, Jules, I'm on the mother****er. Go back in there, chill them *****s out and wait for the cavalry, which should be coming directly.

Problem with that is the cavalry might get here after the Alamo's fallen.

Deboer isn't the issue here. Whatever he's doing is clearly working as his team is consistently outshoot and outchancing the other team. He can't do anything to make more of those pucks go in the net, or fix Moose's AHL-level save percentage.

I think it's an important distinction to make that yes, the team isn't scoring, but the issue is not that they're not playing well or getting chances. This team is getting derailed by awful goals against and they weren't giving up those goals when Brodeur was the starting goalie.

And as an aside, if the Rangers expect to go far in the playoffs playing like they did tonight, then .

They were on a third game in four nights and we couldn't even gain the zone in the third period until the goalie was pulled. Couldn't even complete two passes together for much of it.

If they're bad, what does that make us?

Regardless Eddy we have got to score more than 2 goals a game. It's not like we're losing games 5-4. We're losing 3-2, 2-1, 3-1, 4-2, etc. Moose has not been good at all, but I can't see us winning too many games with Marty out unless we squeaked out some OT wins. Some of Moose's worst games were that Toronto, and Winnipeg game at home, the first one. He gave up 4 goals in both those games and 2 were bad. We only scored 2 goals in those games.

This is true, why I said it wasn't all Moose's fault, but you got to admit some of those bad goals are really deflating and sucks the life out of the team. It is annoying that don't rise above it, but it is a two way street. Also it is this playing from behind crap, the team starts gripping the stick to tight, we start missing the net more, brain farting on great chances. Look at how we play when we score first. I think we can play from behind eventually but confidence wise we need to roll off 4 or 5 wins to not get into the panic mode we seem to get into when we are down.

What is really annoying is the past few games we are creating chances, some good chances too.

We need to start scoring first more often and part of doing that is more solid goaltending.

Again WHY ARE YOU HERE AT ALL

WTF is it with you guys G>T>F>O

Any fan of any team is welcome on any board so long as they follow the rules. Your attitude towards them so far is worse than anything they have said. If they troll, report them and they will be dealt with swiftly and firmly. If you can't handle talking about the game with them, I can help you with that too.

I only wish some of our regulars would practice better discretion before going over on their boards on a mission and creating this turf war mentality.

YES!!! Exactly this. We need to stop chasing the lead every game. We need to score first more often, and that has to come from both sides of the ice. Getting Loki, Zubs and Marty back hopefully addresses this issue.

Zajac was a definite positive tonight. If this Trav Trav is the one that plays a bunch going forward things will get better when the Calvary shows up.

12 of 14 games they have given up the first goal. That is unacceptable and a lot of the blame lies with Hedberg. You fall behind and have to chase the score that often it hurts the offense as the other team can play it safe and commit more to the defense.

At this point Marty has to play rest of the way. Have to ride your top players. If that doesn't work then you make changes in the offseason.

I would sell unless Lou can get Kovy a co-pilot at cost. No need to give up assets, so we can watch this team can smacked around in the first round.

A team with a bad goalie, an AHL PPQB playing 18 minutes a night, and our top-line center injured? Injuries are no excuse, but the fact that we have them and managed to make the winning team STILL look that bad is hilarious to me. Getting trapped out in the third is nothing new in the NHL.

curtsy of RG.

ugh I forgot about Kovy ringing the cross bar. The puck double posted and somehow did not go in, and then they score a ******** one. If that isn't terrible puckluck then I don't know what is.

Despite currently being in the playoff picture for now this has been a very, very frustrating season (for me at least)

This isn't on Deboer

It's Shaws powerfailure, fundamental stuff , and lack of speed on this team.

No ones showing hockey IQ, so if teddy were healthy call him up he has no IQ but he's faster then our ****ing team

We're actually in 9th now Dave. At least the Isles choked their 3 goal lead away to the Sens. I can't imagine what I would think if they got into the playoffs at our expense!

You're not alone. The problem with this team is that they had potential to be pretty decent, but EVRYTHING had to break right for them. Everything = staying healthy. This was a huge red flag going into the season and sure enough, one major injury (Zubrus) and they couldn't find a way to win games again.

The most frustrating thing, however, is how many ill advised and dumb mistakes this team makes during games. When you're hurting for scoring and forward depth, you can absolutely not shoot yourself in the foot and have one defensive breakdown after another. I mean they were horribly bad tonight in that regard and it cost them two points. I don't think people realize how piss poor of a game the Rangers actually played tonight, yet they still won cleanly.

I can't question their effort. This team works and tries hard. That much is obvious. But they are CONSTANTLY finding ways to lose games. Bad teams do that.

Stephen Gionta took regular shifts on our top line tonight. Imho that perfectly sums up this season up until this point. I like Gio's game and appreciate his play as much as the next guy, but he should not be anywhere near the top line.

You just look at the remainder of the schedule and it's really difficult to see how this they do anything better than .500 I mean they just find ways to lose to some pretty mediocre teams lately. The demoralizing part is that the effort has truly been there but they can't get the job done.
