We've been great offensively. Rask has just been standing on his head and we aren't getting the bounces we need. However, we have been absolute **** on defense. We need to be more active in our own zone rather than collapsing every time the Bruins have the puck in our zone. That's our problem. Not Hank. Not our offense. It's our defense.

Nash woke up really well.

Best game Cally has played. He's been involved in at least half a dozen scoring chances.

Step hit the post though Rask's legs, and Hags got robbed.

Richards was OK on the powerplay until that give away.

If there's another goal I think it's going to come from the top 2 lines. Step, Hags, Brass, Zucc. Maybe Nash or Cally again?

D needs to step it up. Girardi has been on the ass end of every goal against.

Hank's having a rough game. Skaters have to bail him out.

2nd was a fluky bounce that was Girardi's fault and the 3rd was a save he makes 99 times out of 100.

Third one beat him high glove, and he never even tried to catch it.

My biggest issue with Hank is his glove. If Hank did stop that shot, he probably would have gotten it with his shoulder, and could have created another 5 vs. 5 power play against.

Well his career GAA and SV% in the regular season and playoffs are almost exactly the same. And in general the playoff games would be against better offensive teams.

Yes. I made mention of this on the main board. That's besides the point. Usually the Rangers also play a tighter style, plus his amazing games counterbalance the garbage he puts up. He's just madly inconsistent.

The Bruins play a championship level game. When a team's 4th line outplays your ****ing 1st line, you don't deserve to win a game! It's not all about Hank here.

I really don't see what having to play hockey has to with this. I seriously doubt anyone here has played in a league within the same universe as the NHL. The discrepancy is so large that it doesn't even register.

All of us are in the same boat here. Pedestrian.

You didn't know? This isn't a message boards for hockey fans this is the message boards for ex pro players.

He cant move his glove. He dosent know the shot is going there. He is just hoping the shot hits him. But the guy had so much time he just aimed where the goalie wasnt. Watch the replay.

Hasn't been an issue in years. It was just a great shot. Quick backhand, top shelf.

Hank has now given up 3 goals or more in 5 of 9 games. That's not the Hank we see in the regular season. That's an unfocused Hank. I don't even know if it's a nervous Hank, because he's shown that he at times is anything but. He's not focused. Much like earlier in his career his head is probably with some Swedish groupies or something in this game. It's sickening.

Its playoff hockey. This happens during playoff hockey. This happens when the team around is out matched. Focused or unfocused, the man is not Jesus.

And Jesus is the only one that would be making saves on 99% of the goals he has let in..

i dont understand why a non-sport company (like time warner) would ever hire a coach or player (like bill cowher) as their pitchman. most viewers wont recognize the coach/player. and if the viewer is a sports fan, and does recognize the coach/player, it's most likely they'd dislike this coach/player. i see bill cowher trying to sell me time warner cable and i want another brand.

Whatever it is (i agree with both different viewpoints), get rid of the collapsing defense.

Girardi is getting badly exposed this series. 4/6 Bruin goals coming from scrub defensemen, Julien is doing a great job out-coaching Torts.

Yeah being screened by an offensive player and your own defenseman is an easy save. Low percentage shot for the Bs!

Until suck long enough to build a core like the Pens (maybe the Hawks), we're not winning a ****ing thing with Lundqvist in net. He'll win us a game or 2 where we play like **** and he allows 0 or 1 goal, unfortunately his MADLY inconsistent play won't get us 4 wins in 4 series ever. We won't win with him in net and it'll be largely because of him. The team right now is good enough to win if he plays like his normal self.
