Just my opinion, but I can't stand our jerseys. Seems like this guy agrees:

Completely agree. They are generic, boring, and unmemorable. Worst uniforms the franchise has ever had, IMO (yes, worse than the Burger King; at least that was unique). Worst logo, too.

The mockups I've seen on HF of a black, purple, gold color scheme would be what I'd like them to go to.

I don't like them, and I think we changed them way too much after the Gretzky era, but we've won a Stanley Cup with these and have sold a bunch recently. I doubt we will be making any more changes anytime soon. You can thank Robitaille for that, though there are worse things to live with. Like being cupless.

I actually love the jersey itself but again the home plate crest might be the worst in the NHL! But even with the ugly crest still don't think we have the worst jersey. Aves are the worst by far!

The Kings' 3rd uniform would be one of the best and most distinctive in the NHL if they just went with it on a full time basis.

Over the purple and black? No way. Lot of bad memories under those colors. The skating bananas and grimace looks didn't leave much in terms of fond memories either, though I don't mind seeing it used as an alternate from time to time.

Current jerseys look just perfect to me. One of my first glimpses of Kings was Quick coming of the door in this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_akrdMYdG4 (0:45 mark). I thought instantly, "man, LA must be kicking ass". It was love at first sight.
