Obviously the logo change is welcome and the overall look is great and faithful to the originals, but I never quite loved the minimalist striping pattern. A tiny little bit of embellishment would go a long way, like the striping on the old Canucks and Kings black jerseys.

I was thinking something similar. Could use a couple white stripes.

The slightly updated 2D logo is just gorgeous but the starkly red and black jersey design is going to take some getting used to. I think it’s fine and glad the erred on the cautious side versus stupid side but I thought maybe just some slight white or gold striping would’ve helped tie into the logo. Maybe some subliminal laurel leaves from the logo patterned into gold striping similar to how Vegas has a real subtle texture/pattern in their gold?

Also I love the return of black as the primary color. You can still rock the red on an alternate sweater. But that 2D logo on a black sweater is what I think of when I think of the Sens. Yes I’m old. Lol. Big ups to the posting of Yashin in his turtle neck undershirt. Classic look.
