The arm stripes are too busy. And overall the stripes are too small. Otherwise these are fine, I guess.

Tbh, swap the logo for the normal diagonal "Rangers", or the diagonal "New York" like on the 2010-17 Heritage jerseys, and it's not the worst. Logo makes the whole thing look worse imo

Kinda but without the dark blue accents logo and arms. I think just the simple royal blue and red combo works without having navy too and I like the concept having the matching diagonal striping at the hem/base. I think the concept is pretty different.

Just my preference though.

Yeah agreed, just like the Jets light blues this year it feels like just slapping the primary logo on makes it disjointed. I definitely think just the diagonal text would look better here.

I think the Liberty jersey has always been super overrated. The emblem/logo always ends up being a bit too big or small, and the diagonal striping just looks dumb.

Tbh the alt jersey i'd really like to come back was the 2010-17 Navy Blue jersey. The one with cream highlights instead of white, and "New York" in the diagonal on the front instead of the normal "Rangers". It just felt classy.

It looks so dark, I need to see more blue to feel like a Rangers jersey. It's not hideous but wish it were a little lighter shade.

This is being reported as a 3rd jersey though, there will probably be a completely different one for the stadium series games. Everyone's expecting a new one for the Devils for it too.

I think they are okay.... But I guess I've just been conditioned in a way that their crest kind of looks out of place whenever they slap that logo on it.

It’s actually a decent logo for the purpose of a jersey crest. And I think they did something interesting and creative with the arm stripes.

Somehow it feels like something’s missing, like the parts aren’t quite tied together. I can’t quite put my finger on it.

for a team with a good color combo and plenty of solid templates to work off of, they consistently fail to deliver an alternate that impresses.

these are fine...not horrible...but also nothing that should have survived the early rounds of the sampling process. it's simple, it doesn't have any egregious striping, no weird color combo but it's just...meh. looks like they tried to combine the newer style jerseys with the striping and using the navy color with a throwback concept of the logo on the front and its just meh. it's so simple as an original 6 org...embrace the throwback, don't get cute with the colors, keep it simple...and you pretty much have a guaranteed home run. boston and chicago specifically have done this so well, just follow their example

People just aren't used to seeing the Rangers logo.
It's not an earth shattering design but it's also not as bad as folks in this thread make it appear to be.

I’m conflicted on it. At first I didn’t like it, but the more I look at it the more I don’t hate it.

The Rangers always seem to do a variation of the classic jersey or the Lady Liberty, so the fact they did something so different I think is kind of startling. I also don’t think the shield logo looks great on a jersey. May I would’ve done a stylized version of it.

The template is nice, it's just that the Rangers logo is quite bland which is really apparent when it's blown up on the front of a jersey. That corner of empty white space and the boring lettering on it is where my eyes go first
