I believe that there is a better than 50% chance that JDR is gone tomorrow. Really. Harris doesn't seem the type to take a nationally televised prime time humiliation lying down.
He’s also not the type to interfere mid-season. It’s Rivera’s job to fire him, and Rivera is as clueless as one can get …which he has proved time and time again with his “we were eliminated?” type stuff. Besides, Rivera’s footprints are all over this with Jammin Davis and Emmanuel Forbes, as well as the o-line. He knows he’s done as well, not sure he has anything to gain firing his friend.

I've seen 23 years of Washington Redskins football and I've never seen anything as embarrassing as losing to a 0-4 team in the Snyder era.

Even the Monday Night Massacre involved a better team.

Maybe they wouldn't have won this game. But I expected effort. A 0-4 team is RUNNING CIRCLES AROUND THEM.

I repeat, an 0-4 team that has lost 14 straight games.

You forget the Vick game?

Edit: Oh no you did not. I'm illiterate. But both those games are worse than this. Edit 2: for now

That team wasn't 0-4.

Every blowout I've seen involved a better team. Dallas was better than a COVID stricken Washington. They blew their brains out. I was in the stadium when a Mark Sanchez led Washington team shit the bed to an inferior Giants team and Barkley went ham. That team had a few wins under their belt, and was worse than the Redskins in the standings.

I have never seen them get blown out by a winless team.

Ever.

Especially one this bad.

This team has the #1 and #2 PICKS IN THE DRAFT RIGHT NOW!

THEY'RE AWFUL!

THEIR ORGANIZATION IS ONE OF THE FEW THAT RIVALS SNYDER WASHINGTON FOR ORGANIZATIONAL DISARRAY, AND I'M TALKING PRE-HARRIS.

THEIR COACH IS IN SERIOUS JEOPARDY OF BEING FIRED.

THERE IS NO CONCEIVABLE REASON THIS SHOULD BE HAPPENING. Maybe they win but it takes a SERIOUS choke job / lack of coaching to lose to a team as BAD as this team.

Screens have hurt this defense all year long yet that’s the first one we ran tonight?

Chicago has backups all over their secondary yet none of our guys get open deep. JDR has no injuries to speak of and gets smoked.

Makes no difference if the D can’t stop them. I have as much confidence in JDR making adjustments as I do Forbes bench pressing 450lb.

What a dumb team. Just a play or two before the fumble I think it was Thomas over the middle and he was flopping around on his way down with legs helicoptering everywhere. He was lucky he didn't get his leg snapped like RG3.

I thought then, this team doesn't even know how to go to the turf correctly. There's a way to take a tackle to reduce injury and protect the ball. Fighting for a yard or two is rarely worth it unless you're going for the first down on 3rd or 4th.

Marvin Harrison was the best I've ever seen at catching the ball and getting down without getting smeared, and he also managed to pick up a few yards in the process.

As shitty as this game's been they're still in it, just need to score another TD. Of course they do like to turn it over...

They stopped worrying about rushing lanes and are now. Chase went inside and the d-tackle went outside. Some actual coordination there.

Yeah those rarely turn out well.

Finally Howell with an on-target deep throw.

And a reminder that the nickname "Riverboat" was actually sarcastic on the part of Carolina fans, who were mocking his cowardice in situations like that
