Allen is precisely the type of QB that always slaughters this defense. But good god the offense was worse.

So you know they are running and you still can’t stop it. Keep Allen and Payne obviously, let Sweat and Young go. Put the resources into o-line and LB. Get cheaper DEs in FA, there are plenty of their caliber with expiring contracts.

Because all we have is the D line and nothing behind it. It's child's play for an average NFL team to completely neutralize that. Opposing teams have four guys to worry about and nothing else. That's easy.

They've put all of their eggs in a single unsupported basket. Rivera is a shitty GM. On top of that, look at other teams and how they pass rush; they do a hell of a lot more than just bashing into the guys in front of them. That's all we do. It's lazy as hell. JDR is lazy as hell.

Allen has not faced nearly the pressure Howell has. Have you not seen Allen crap the bed before? We have a garbage o-line thank to Dollar General Rivera/Mayhew and a d-line that can’t pressure an even mediocre o-line.
