A lot going on in this tweet.

Whiny little baby. Kevin Durant was there too, nobody cared, like seriously who gives a shit?

You don't have to let go of everything you've ever liked when you get drafted to a professional sports team. Imagine telling Bryce Harper he's just straight up not allowed to like Vegas' hockey team...

Plus this is somebody he knows both personally and professionally, who is celebrating buying a f***ing NFL franchise. If you told me I could kiss a little ass with my team owner and all I had to do was attend opening weekend for the NFL from the owner's box, it's not exactly a hard sell. If someone isn't birthing my child I'll probably be there, even if I'm not a fan of the team, just to hobnob and eat shrimp.

If your boss asks you to go to their new grand opening party I think you say yes.

LOL. That dude is angry.

His boss asked him to come watch a sporting event. So the f*** what? It wasn’t against the f***ing Eagles?

Jesus. Did they castrate LeBron for watching a Miami MLS game? Did it upset the Laker faithful? Is all of LA aghast?

Dude needs to grow up.

Just like Wentz, Collins would be going to his 3rd team in 3 years for a reason.
But not just like Wentz, they wouldn’t be signing him to stupid money to the most important position in the game. It would be far cheaper and as a backup for depth.

I’m sure that would somehow be a bad idea? Collins for like 5m?

Bmitch to the rescue lol

“Howard works for the Eagles broadcasts, so I get the feeling that whenever he can, he’s going to take a shot at the Commanders,” JP said. “Now, he keeps going after Josh Harris.”

“It’s not that he works for the Eagles, he’s a Josh Harris hater,” BMitch replied after JP read the contents of the Tweet where Eskin took issue with the situation. “Howard is an ass. I’ve told him to his face and I’ll tell him to his face, that’s what he is.”

Oh, and about Embiid?

“I think Joel Embiid more than likely came to hang with Kevin Durant since they’re boys, and if I’m either of them and I have a chance to hang out with Magic Johnson, I’m doing anything I can to do that,” BMitch said. “Josh also stated he’d do everything he can to make sure the guys on his teams know they can do more than just play their sport, and that’s what he’s doing here.”

JP then read some of the “tremendous” Twitter replies slandering Eskin, who is one of the best examples of a love-hate relationship with his fan base…and then, the dagger.

“In my lifetime, the most beloved Sixer is Allen Iverson…someone sent Eskin a picture of Iverson decked out in Cowboys gear shaking hands with Jerry Jones,” JP said. “And people in Philly loved him anyway.”

"I told him to his face ..."

Love it. Old school. Hate the fake tough guy social media chirping thing. Its like road rage. Cursing and giving the finger to each other while traffic is moving .. come to a red light, stopped behind each other and now everyone wants to check their phone and act like nothing.

John Wall used to go to Redskins games with full Cowboys gear, who cares what Embiid is doing. The important thing is how packed that place was with celebrities. You never saw that in the Snyder era. Lindsay Vonn, Ovechkin and Magic and Embiid and Durant.

Not saying this organizational rebound is going to be easy, but you can already tell the path is much better with celebrities flooding the owners box at FedEx and the legends coming out to meet the fans every week. We may not win a SB. But we have an organization to be PROUD of again.

I cant find a gif, wtf ..

Dallas mavericks Darrel Armstrong grabbing the mic and yelling 'How about them Redskins!" after our brunnel to moss 14-13 comeback win.
I remember that, it was like a Christmas party for the Mavs before their game, and he blurted that out of nowhere. In the media report of the incident it said "Armstrong, who was not scheduled to speak"

He was fined but it all went to charity so it was good

Mavericks guard Darrell Armstrong was so happy his
beloved Washington Redskins beat the Dallas Cowboys that he grabbed
a microphone before Sunday night's game against the Minnesota
Timberwolves and hollered, "How 'bout those Redskins!"

It's going to cost him $1,000.

Dallas coach Avery Johnson announced the fine during his
postgame news conference and team owner Mark Cuban later verified
it was legit, much to the chagrin of a disbelieving Armstrong. The
money will all go to charity, with Johnson saying the Cowboys would
decide the recipient.

The Redskins wrapped up a 35-7 victory over the Cowboys shortly
before the Mavericks left the locker room to play the Timberwolves.

As part of the pregame ceremonies, guard Devin Harris wished the
crowd a happy holiday. Then Armstrong, who wasn't scheduled to
speak, asked for the microphone. He added his holiday wishes, then
made his fine-inducing proclamation, a twist on a famous line by
former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson.

We used to call that "car courage"

IDk man ... plenty of knob slobbing from us Fans for the first 5 years or so.

We were complicit with being offseason champs year after year

Honeymoon phase right now with Harris and Howell

I think I fell off the Snyder wagon when they signed Deion Sanders. So about 1 year in. Carried his water up until then, because he was willing to spend money which is one thing you want an owner to do. But then it became obvious he was spending his money on fantasy football from 5 years ago, he was clueless. Then over time more and more stories of how much of an ass wipe he was came out.

We had this discussion recently.

For me I think it was firing Norv partway through the season with a winning record. That was a red flag that something isn't right. Who else had done that?

I saw that last discussion. I didn’t contribute bc as I was thinking about it, LIFE came running in (kids and work, yay!).

I mostly turned a deaf/blind/mute mindset towards Danny for the first many years. Was never happy about it, always knew it wasn’t good, but like family (and that’s what the Redskins were to me, post Gibbs 1.0), I was ready to support.

RGME and that whole debacle soured me. Then the Gruden years were mostly meh, and then….shit storm.

I never liked him. I mostly loathed him. But I grew up and loved my Redskins like a younger brother.

I was trapped.

I am FREE now.

Lucas is a pretty good backup RT and his cap hit is 3.4 mil.

I get your concern but at this point in the season, unless they trade for someone, they are picking off the scrap heap. If worst comes to worst put Cosmi back out at RT and put Stromberg at guard.

As I’ve said many times before, O-line is 5 guys working together. There is 1 starter (Leno) back. The rest are new or playing a new position. It’s going to take time for them to gel as a unit. Also, a rookie QB isn’t helping. By game 4 or 5 we should see improvement. If not it’s going to be a long season.

EB will figure out this offense and “what to do”. I’m pretty confident if that.

Last game had a very different theme per each half. Hopefully they continue to grow from last weeks 2nd half.

But we all need to best remember, the other side is gaming to come out hot, and do their thing too. So that’s not a bad thing. Hell, Gibbs 1.0 was REKNOWNED for their half time adjustments. They routinely won 2nd halves on their way to winning games.

So that doesn’t scare me at all. Let’s see what happens

From three years on the practice squad directly to the Pro Bowl. There were glimpses into this story in a couple Commanders videos last year. Nice to see it expanded upon.

This Thursday Night Football game is really, really weird. I think there's been like three turnovers in maybe 10 real life minutes?

This guy very quickly hit all my benchmarks for quality content (and as an NFL pro, love hearing the insight).

Haven't seen this video yet but watched the Love and Fields ones and he's got great insight, interested to see how he feels about Howell
