Rumor: New Oilers Third Jersey

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I agree it's not a primary logo. The OEG logo could however be used as a shoulder patch and would be passable.

I agree with you - it still feels wrong with dark as home but I think its probably better for dealing with the introducing 3rd jerseys that are always white. They would want to showcase 3rd jerseys at home more often I would think.

When you think about it, its kind of nice seeing colors in the seats in the playoffs and now Winnipeg has their white out tradition still and it looks better when no one else does it.
 
Are some of you not sharp enough to figure out why they won't reuse the copper. Almost everyone on here has at least 2 of those in a closet somewhere. I will buy the Orange but wouldnt buy a copper...

Of course this is all about money. That doesnt mean that some of us shouldnt post about the version we prefer.

Its just venting...no one that matters is reading this stuff anyway.

Slobbering Oiler fans will buy whatever ugly version the team puts out. Book it.

I loved the copper and dark blue jerseys. But I really like these from OKC:

What I'm really looking forward to is our winter classic jersey that's gotta be coming in the next few years, right??
 
Really? Orange? Sorry, but I already feel like the Oilers are the Cleveland Browns or the Miami Dolphins of the NHL. Do they really need to look like them as well? Go back to the copper and blue jerseys.

Orange jerseys are part of the Oilers's history.

Copper nad dark blue were nice, but they were very much of the time.
