It was a really ugly first. Just poor play and sluggish pace with Schmid fighting it. This period is night and day.

Thanks I understand but there are 3 periods. This is the Devils. Schmid had a bad night but that is why we have two goalie as you know. Some Devils fans panic too early. Just my opinion.

I hope Ruff puts Schmid right back in the next game.
