So glad we’re about to be 1-8-1 in back to backs. Think only Chicago is worse on them this year.

If you do want Ruff fired, you're hoping for a few more of these games in a row. That would take us out of the playoffs but that's what would have to happen to get him fired this year, the team just compeltely quitting
I don't even want him fired this year because we're only gonna get the former Canucks REJECT, who any lurking Nucks fans can tell us makes Lindy Ruff look like the best coach in the NHL.

It's not so much the losing tonight that concerns me, it's that we are one of the fastest teams in the league but are so lethargic tonight that we'd get skated out of the rink by the Islanders.

People complain that the Devils don't give effort because they have no confidence in Vitek, what was the excuse tonight when Daws actually held the fort for a while?
This was easily the worst game of the season.

No arguing that at this point. This is worse than Detroit game that Lindy said was the ''Worst game'' he had had ever seen here, only we didn't get shutout.

Injuries and back to back would be my guess.

Once again…where tf is Hischier, Bratt, Toffoli? They have the opportunity to set up but they offer nothing but a wet fart.
The degree to which Hischier skates by being sub-par offensively always kind of surprises me. At the same time, we're clearly a better, more effective team with him in the lineup.

Bratt at this point I think we need to acknowledge just will never be "the" guy.

Devils spend all the time skating behind the puck and also standing still in the defensive zone.

They’re a good example of being able to skate fast but the breakout so slow.

Puck also moves faster than players can skate but the Devils do most of their movement by skating or passing to guys standing still on the opposing blue line.
