Sitting him for 7 straight games was much worse.

Right, I forgot about that one.

Every thing Therrien has done regarding Sekac has been infuriating. Can't imagine Bergevin is too happy about it either.

Give Subban the c now.
Points =/= respect, leadership, etc.

I love me Subban but he's not a "captain" like player. Doesn't have that comportment. Lafleur didn't either, it doesn't matter. But neither Patches nor Subban are captain material, or have shown as much so far.

I think Gionta had the professionalism side down but he exhibited such a dearth of talent that he was also a bad option.

Opportunity cost?

That sounds an awful lot like analytics talk, don't be such a ****** nerd and enjoy OUR RECORD. CANT YOU SEE THAT WE'RE WINNING???

Hey buddy, whenever you think about drinking, you should consider the opportunity cost that comes with it. :sarcasm:

I wouldn't mind rolling with the 4 A's for another season. It hasn't been a distraction and it truly lets everybody be a leader.

Disagree. PK has that leadership ability. You're still thinking of him as a brash rookie. He's been a composed leader all season.

I was at a frat party last night. I should point out that frat parties in New York are tiny apartment parties with a ton of smoking and weed, 19 year old rich kids and ****** ironically enjoyed rap music. Anyway, I drank a lot and had to be on set this morning at 8.

It's been a rough, rough day.

Going out again tonight though - might have a new lady friend, one more my age-group (BUT STILL ENTIRELY LEGAL.)

What a dirty shot by Eller.

I'm with you. We should give it to Markov/Plek and wait for Galchenyuk/Gallagher or another player to take the mantle.

DD now as an assist in this game. When did that happen? Was Eller out there on the PP for Pleks goal?

NHL knows DD's top line position is based solely on soft secondary assists. They are having a good laugh at our expense.

Plekanec's line has easily been the most dangerous out there tonight. I really hope they pot one on ES.

I had the sound off but it looked like the Tiger said PK had a razor in his glove and cut himself to draw the 4min. My lip-reading isn't that good though so I may be wrong.

Both DD and Pacioretty over 15 minutes tonight already according to the ice time on NHL.com. Over 3 minutes more than any other Habs forward.
