Talent is talent. Talent is not polisehd play. PK, Chucky, Price, MaxPac is a very, very talented young core.

Detroit generally overperforms there talent thanks to Datysuk / Zetterberg. NYR has Nash, McDonash, Lundqvist and no one else really.

This is such a dumb rule...an extra 2 for drawing blood. We actually cheer the fact one of our guys is cut because it gets us 4 minutes on the pp. It's the same intent, the same infraction....just that sometimes a guy bleeds. Either always make it 4 minutes or just leave it at 2.

On paper we have a great defense, they're kinda all over the place. Subban is neutered, Markov plays an effective game but he doesn't get to make creative plays much. Same goes for the rest of the team.

I'm not really sold on Gilbert.

The only paper this teams defense looks good on is a paper written about 5 years ago when Gonchar was still an nhl player. Weaver, Gilbert, Emelin and even Markov should be replaced. Could be one of the worst backends in the league.
