hockeyDB clearly mixed up the positions of those players. Only Raskob, Nemec and Svarny are defensemen from those 5. Check the EP link I posted

He's scored like 3 goals in his 70 something games in the Slovakian league, but put up a ton of assists. So in that sense the Roman Josi etc comparisons he's had are inaccurate. Fair point, however Josi's career progression is hardly the norm. Like I always say, anything can happen. And I'm not writing anyone off. That whole post was suppose to be positive, that Nemec isn't this one dimensional 'forward dressed as a defenceman' like many seem to think.

Don’t the Devils hook up these kids with some practise jerseys etc!?
Vanacek and Nemec both not rocking out old prior teams jerseys practicing. Must be by choice and not a deal at all what so ever . If I was a NHL prospect , I’d be rocking out as much of my NHL teams gear as possible. Off the ice I’d be wearing at least NHLPA shit but mostly my teams full gear like shirts , pants , hat etc etc

Pens, cheap t-shirts from a giveaway night with some sort of Fan Duel or State Investor’s Bank or Barnabas Health logos, stationary, coupons for discount tickets after buying regular price tickets, and a cheap sponge stress ball foam squeeze toy that has a Devils logo and some lottery logo as well. You know, the good stuff that only VIPs get.

He was wearing devils gear in previous practices. The jersey he has in the pic is HK Liptovsky Mikulas, where he played until he was 14.
He was actually playing some shinny style hockey as well some days with some older retired Slovak players too (Mesar was playing too).

He has on plenty of Devils stuff. I honestly don’t even care , I’m just more concerned he isn’t rushed into the NHL this year. The AHL is probably the best place for him to play all year till he earns a call up. i Really don’t want to rush him and ruin his game.
