Not our best tonight. We had more complete games over the last 10 that instill more confidence.

We’ve outplayed a lot of teams where we saw Ls on that time too.

I’m just not concerned until we see a true run of bad play.

Also, didn’t Colorado go 1-5 or 1-6 heading into the playoffs last year

Limping into the playoffs with an ice cold Hughes is awful.
Hughes is a problem, but I’m not seeing the limping?

We outplayed Tampa overwhelmingly in that 3 game set. We outplayed Minny. This game has just been weird, we’ve hit like 4 posts and they’ve converted every chance.

I also have to put you down in the doom and gloom crowd my friend. Still love you but Your outlook of the team in January and February couldn’t be more wrong and was borderline tough to read day in and day out.

Everyone is crying because the third place devils are not getting results in their toughest stretch of the season with zero practice or rest time. Their two bad games in this stretch are literal no shows. They outplayed the Hurricanes. They were creaming the Lightning in game 1 until an act of god decided it wasn’t their night. Outplayed the Lightning in Game 2. Outplayed the Lightning in Game 3. Outplayed the Wild.

Lightning have had streaks like this late in the seseon for the last three years. I guess they went nowhere too…

Holy moly people. If they were getting outplayed on merit every game this stretch, sure, go ahead an cry, id be there with you. Just like in December, this is not what’s happening.

My god. Show some damn pride and confidence in this team. They proved you all wrong every single time this season.

A much needed rant/
We should present Dignity Trophy to this man.

Devils literally just put in two great performances in Tampa and against the Wild.

Holy shit, you doom and gloomers are pathetic. Seriously. You all been like this all season. In a f***ing historic season. Pathetic.
It’s fugazi. They have horrendous breakdowns on remedial plays. They play youth soccer chasing the puck in the dzone and try to fling it out to a winger high up the wall. Against a disciplined team, they are very easy to play against. It’s been that way 3 years now through multiple assistants. Some of us saw this possibility earlier and have heard garbage about being a gloomer for not blindly meat riding.

Perhaps some of us are upset because they see a “f***ing historic season” going up in smoke to the Rangers no less, in the first round. They are talented. That’s why it’s frustrating!

Hopefully me being at the game tomorrow turns things around. The team has been really weird lately. They either look great or horrendous. There is no in-between.

Colorado was 1-6 last year, what happened? I was in coma and just woke up
Great news, had no idea all teams that have their worst play in the lead-in to the postseason turn it around. Was worried Colorado might be a corner case and that most teams don’t just magically flip the switch.

We still haven’t lost back-to-back in regulation since Christmas.

The 0-2-1 TB/FLA streak is only the second time this season we’ve lost three in a row in any way. First time since December.

No shit, I’m actually thrilled that some of you are able to see the positives over the negatives. I feel like we are in a tailspin. It’s frustrating and disappointing. Glad some of you are keeping positive. I hope you’re right and I’m overreacting to this and the last ten years.

Sorry my friend, this narrative doesn’t stick.

This is literally a 8-17 record for the final stretch of the last 3 cup winners.

I dont want to hear that bullshit narrative of them being guaranteed first round exits unless they finish hot.

You are drunk to compare us to those Tampa or Colorado teams.

They know how to win when it matters. We don't.
So those good teams were choosing to lose those games because they know how to win but this teams wins through randomness and doesn’t deserve credits for all its wins?
