I can count the number of good games he's had on wing on one hand IMO.

He might "produce" there from time to time but he's just so much more effective at center.

...and the Kings are a much better team with Carter at center.

All I know is the d has to be fixed before guys start losing confidence in the system and/or other players.

Schultz had an awful game. I made it a point to watch him closely since lots want to praise him for being quiet this he must be effective but no he is terrible. Out of position constantly and too slow to do anything about it. Caught on the wrong side of the puck and can't correct. SOFT SOFT SOFT in the slot and he's too big to just be standing there stick checking someone. Then if he gets the puck he throws either a bouncing hand grenade up the boards or an accurate-but-SOFT pass to a guy who is eventually gonna get lined up for a suicide pass. Fixing the d starts with getting him out. Regehr is missed big time.

Williams was a +3 tonight. Muffin was brutal. Kopitar/Carter weren't that great. McNabb needs to remain in the lineup. Schultz had a stinker. Bad penalty from Andreoff. What else can you say? Shore better be in the lineup on Saturday.

Couple goals off of our own defensemen, and a series of defensive lapses in about a minute. Lots of little things.

Dean has to find a way to dump Richards and keep Williams.

Sutter was keeping the Kings from coming back by rolling out the 4th line continually! But, I agree with him. The Kings don't deserve to win and they'll learn nothing! They needed to lose and get embarrassed.

Jersey throwing is the last thing I want to see. What I do want to see, however, is maybe a little bit of passion and work ethic. Do these guys not want to defend the Cup?
