Oh, and one final time before hopping into bed for 2.5 hours of sleep.

Hamilton plays an awful game, but still picks up a casual two assists. Of course he did.
Said it before and I'll say it again: Most defenseman are bad everywhere when they play like shit. Hamilton STILL drives O even when he's a liability out there.

Finding a way to make an impact even on terrible nights is what separates great players from the pack.

Arizona is annoyingly decent at home, they’re actually at .500 for a dogshit team. They beat the Bruins there in regulation earlier this year if I’m not mistaken.

It’s the NHL, let’s not overreact. We got the W. We have Timo. All is well!
They've beaten a lot of the top teams in the league at home this season. They're pesky.

The goalie thing is more of a concern than the sloppiness...I don't necessarily want to be relying on Schmid in the playoffs. Although this season does have 1994 vibes where they came out of nowhere to be elite

Terreri = VV
Brodeur = Schmid
Sidorkewicz = Blackwood

I'd be lying if I said I liked this year's win in Arizona better than last year's no mercy blowout.

I’m not gonna worry too much about a Sunday night game in March against Arizona. Especially considering they got the win. Realistically they borderline dominated the last two periods. It was two horrendous sequences by Bratt and Hamilton plus quite a few pretty good saves by Ingram and boom tie game. Side note. For anyone who after one freakin game want to bitch and moan about the Hughes-Meier-Bratt line, give your head a shake.
