We could have 193847 shots on net and not score if we keep shooting from the perimeter. Ya we had lots of shots but they were all ones that a peewee goalie can save.
Then on defence , we hardly give up shots but when we do…. It’s a prime scoring chance due to a complete defensive breakdown that gives the opposition a glorious chance.
Yes, the goaltending has been shit, but there is more to it than JUST goaltending.
What I’m scared of is that the roster construction is dog shit . If that’s the case , how the hell do we fix it ? Trade everyone ?

I think this is the case, but I bet that Blackwood on say the Islanders would be a .910 backup goalie at very least.

It`s on Ruff.
Turnovers is a structure questions. Goaltenders didn`t save, yeah, I understand, but goals were going from turnovers, it`s always hard for goalie to make save when unprotected. Lines that didn`t used in preseason - coaching decision. He didn`t use Yegor and Alexander - both goalscoring wingers, both were cold full game, team can`t pull the trigger. It`s coaching decision.
Team played good, but it will not turn into regular wins, if team will continue to play in "control the puck to find ideal chance" because make a shot! find opportunity on rebounds, drive the net! And we can protect the goalie from a lot of dangerous chances, but few turnovers will definitely turn into missed goals. It`s a bad formula.

The team needs skill fire ruff and they still won’t be finishing and the goalies won’t be stopping shots. The team isn’t good the players aren’t good. The kids suck lol change coach by all means but it will continue

I believe all 5 goals came off of turnovers. Two of the goals on Vanacek were horribly soft.

The offense didn't really generate much that I felt was dangerous. We didn't have a single breakaway, very few odd man rushes or clean uncontested chances. The quality of the shots that were taken from our best chances were not good.

I think there's plenty of blame to go around.
