I'd go with walk. Would be pretty sick to hear that played after goals.

Not really a fan of anything else posted. Can't stand light em up but I think it works better as a goal song than any of the other selections.
 
Walk would introduce you suck back into the goal song.

i kind of have to agree. the minor key makes it kind of weird as a goal song. i like the song for what it is, but i don't think i could get on board with it as a goal song. I'm still digging SNA pretty hard

i would die from laughter at the irony of it all if, somewhere down the line after Howl wins, people start to hate on it. but the thing is, if there's no vulgarity with the song, even if people are really meh about it, i don't think the dislike for it would draw enough attention for it to warrant any change. but i'm hoping that my opinion on it as a goal song will change
 
Ironically they might have been better off picking Raise Your Hands from Bon Jovi instead of that OTHER song they picked:



I'm still not sure what I'm actually going to vote for. I'm tempted to write in 'Old Time Rock And Roll' from Bob Seger, cause it's upbeat, I like it and not vulgar (at least not vocally) but that'll never win cause he ain't from Jersey and it's a prior generation song lol
 


The first thirty seconds is good enough for a goal song lol...I'm just thinking out loud now. I know this ain't getting voted for either.
 
It's not easy to pick a goal song, that's for sure. But some of these choices are terrible. Livin on a prayer? It's not as if that steaming pile of **** isn't played enough as it is. I have a feeling that no matter what gets picked, it's going to come up short. They're going to **** this up.

If I had control over there, I'd bust this out during the testing period just to **** with people. Would really love to see people's reactions to this blasting after a goal :laugh: Hey, the demon laughs are a good theme for us.

They ain't pleasing everyone, that's for sure. Especially limiting it to Jersey artists only. Anything Bruce related that could work? They do play his songs enough as is (Glory Days or No Surrender after games), where they might want to branch it out though.

Maybe for giggles I'll just submit the Sopranos theme song and be done with it.

EDIT: I voted Raise Your Hands...why not? The 1:10-1:40 part of it could really work actually (it starts at :59 on iTunes).

No matter what the goal song is the fans will chant something profane. There is zero doubt in my mind. And it's largely because of how the Devils are attempting to force this down the fan's throats.

I think that song is awesome and wouldn't mind it at all. But all of the fans are going to chant "you suck." No matter what song we pick.

The "diehards" here are not representative of the fan base. You want to see the fanbase? Go on Twitter and Facebook. Look at the vast majority of Devils fans and look at the responses this is getting.

I still laugh at the guy who thought it was 50/50 :laugh:

Last a season? It wouldn't even get past the PC gestapos to be a tryout song, and yes it's because that 'potential' is pretty noticeable. I could actually see them pick some fan-made song though as part of the carrot for other fans to support it :P
