I'm not talking about how good Dubas was or wasn't "Bro". People are complaining about players not wanting to play here and blaming on the players. There's nothing toxic or rotten about the core. Dubas treated his players well. So it's not surprising guys wanted to play for him and it was easy to recruit players for the last 5 years. The shitshow of an offseason transpired and nobody wants to play for us anymore. Shocking. Lets blame the players.

A bunch of pissed off fans speculating no one wants to play here because the team hasnt signed anyone doesnt mean anything when there could be a multitude of reasons why no one has signed yet.

I’ve been saying this for years as a habs fan, Leafs should be going after Domi! He would look great on the wing there. He thrives in hockey markets like Montreal and Dallas, but seems to flounder in non hockey markets like Columbus and Arizona.

Fans would love him, and he could actually bring some toughness to the top 6 for once

Kampf is our 3C. Had the sixth most minutes of any forwards last year. (of full time guys)

We need a 4C in minutes anyway, though that player should be expected to be a little more offensive minded than Kampf. Holmberg deserves that shot IMO, though hopefully he's worked on his faceoffs over the winter. Note, Lafferty can also play C, and has throughout his career.
