I don't know how we would make it work cap and asset-wise but Karlsson would have a transformative effect on the team.

It's not a bridge situation, Pagnotta you fool....you'll pay MORE for a shorter UFA contract. when a player is in his peak prime. LOL

Yup. He knows a bit of stuff sometimes but I don't get this take.
It seems a bunch of "insiders" are all over the place on the amount of years.
Still don't see how you'll get more signing a shorter deal.
Once you're past most of your prime you are never getting another shot at a contract like this right now.
The cap will go up a lot but he won't make 13 now then 17 when he's older lol. Unless he's going to Hartford or whatever Arizona moves too.

I can see it now, Matthews and Nylander string Tre along like Tavares with NYI claiming he wanted to stay and boom, you can’t move them and they ride to UFA July 1, 2024

As much as people want to pretend, for the sake of wallowing in misery and crying like babies, this organization hasn't been poorly run in quite a while.
I'm pretty sure the deals will get done or the players get dealt.
