Some interesting scores coming out of the Frontier this past Saturday. Badlands topped Helena in a shootout 2-1. That's only Helena's third loss this season. After losing to Sheridan 12-3 on Friday, Butte beats the Hawks 7 to 5 Saturday in a game that featured 19 power plays. Finally, even though getting outshot 73-16, the Quake pot a goal with their goalie pulled with 2:10 left but cant get the equalizer and lose 3 to 2 to Great Falls.

One game today, Maine vs New Hampshire. The Nordiques have lost 8 straight coming into today's contest and I've noticed they have been dressing 15 skaters in a few of those.

Big game in the NA3 South division as Louisiana takes on Texas. Teams occupy first and second place and have combined for a 58-4-4 record.

In a three game series of top South Division teams, the Drillers have taken the first two games, 5-1 and 6-5 against Texas. This NA3 game is the third game this afternoon if football isn't your thing.

Peoria mustangs are 8-7 in their last 15 since starting the season 1-16. Obviously they can’t make the playoffs, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them throw a monkey wrench into the central division’s seeding as they just beat the Wisconsin woodsmen, toppling them from 1st to third in the division.

Drillers finished off a three game sweep of the Brahmas today in the NA3 with a 6-2 win. This was the last regular season home game for Louisiana.

Some shuffling standings wise in the NA3's West Division. The Wilderness have lost 9 straight to drop to last place while the Moose have won 9 straight to jump to third.
