This is likely Ward’s last start in his hometown area. This was always going to happen. Live with it and hope he pulls a decent performance out of his ass

Just trick Ward into thinking it's 2006, game 7 vs the Oils. He'll stand on his head. The problem is we need to score more than 1 goal...

There are so many promising narratives that there is basically a 0% chance that Cam Ward does not bomb this game.
Not a winnable game tonight....therefore another 5-hole softie and a glove side high (or 3) goals won't matter [checks the Western standings]....who's projected to be drafted #12 next June?
On a more serious note, I think we break out of the scoring slump and put up a 6 spot on the Oil...the only problem will be they'll be almost equal to the task...6-5 Canes victory....on a 42 shot effort for the Canes and 19 Edmonton shots against.
