I liked it better when eligibility used to be stricter. Easier to follow & didn’t have guys with like 6+ years of experience.
Yeah it was always convenient to know when guys were close to the end.

I've kinda softened on the whole thing. Kids were declaring for the NFL at record numbers. I don't think it's the worst thing in the world for the sport if they relax the rules to let kids that want to be in college, play out the string. Tweeners like Gabriel for example. Of course at some point the high school recruits get squeezed out if the rules are too relaxed.

I think a compromise would be 5 years to play 5.

Not to put the cart before the horse but talk me out of going to “Dallas” for the Cotton Bowl.

My buddy lives there and will put me standby flights (he’s a pilot) so only cost will really be game tickets.

Chalk naturally would have them playing Texas and then the whole house of horrors from last time I was there.

P.S. I didn’t even realize the absolute BS that will be potentially having to play Texas in Dallas and then Georgia in Atlanta.

Dallas is the worst major city in the country to visit? That’s all I’ve got.

Well ok. My real argument would be to save the money and use it to go to a game on campus. Home or Away doesn’t even matter. Those are so much more fun than Neutrals.

Like the big (old) dummy that I am, I accepted an opportunity from an old friend to attend the PSU game on Saturday.

It's going to be titballs cold. Mid 20s with 30mph wind gusts. I've been searching throughout my house for old ski gear since I accepted the invitation. They better effing win is all I can say, lol.

Penn State women's volleyball pulls off a reverse sweep, in the national semi final, and will play Louisville for the title on Sunday. Saved two match points in the 4th set. Great match

I'm surprised at how much I've enjoyed this tournament, even without a rooting interest. I had never seen a game before Nebraska put 80,000+ people in a stadium last year. At least the NCAA game is in a great spot right now.

I turned it off for a bit after the 2nd set, thought they were toast. Turned it back on for the the 4th and 5th sets...glad I did
I was falling asleep and literally watching with one eye open until the 4th and 5th sets. After they went down 2-0 I thought they were toast also. Helluva comeback.
