The fact it’s a three year deal with his age honestly seems like a pretty easy built in talking point for opposing schools to use in recruiting against them.

It does kind of feel like he’s kind of using them for reasons I stated above. I don’t think the administrative people were crazy about him either. I think boosters & such were more so the push behind him.

UNC says it’s a five year deal. All the media people say three which I find interesting.

Penn State is 5-2 against Iowa under Franklin & has the most recent win (2023 31-0).

Their struggles against Iowa mostly occurred under Paterno in the 2000-2010 period where Iowa went 8-1 against them during that time frame.

O’Brien went 2-0 against them.

The buyout drops to 1 mill after June 1st. Def seems like he’ll try to jump to the NFL at first chance and get his son the job.

Am I happy with Dan Mullen as UNLVs new coach?
He recruited like he was at a mid major program when he was in the SEC so yeah he should be a good fit there.

So Brian Kelly is going to match up to $1m in NIL donations... To get around whatever level of "NCAA rules" exist for coaches or schools directly funding it he's actually 'donating' the $1m to the LSU Tiger Athletic Fund 'nonprofit' to be used 'however they see fit.'

Since LSU coaches and the university get money from taxpayers that means Louisiana taxes are going to pay for NILs lol.
