Adonai Mitchell was a 3-star. The highest tier of the country has a talent advantage and a developmental one on top.

I just don't understand how someone is supposed to break into the top tier. Look at Clemson. They have talent all over the place, but it doesn't matter unless they have an otherworldly QB.

Those teams can slow play even intriguing 3* talents & swoop in late with an offer around the signing day periods after seeing them play a senior year of high school.

There just isn’t really margins to be gained in today’s landscape. Not that college football has been a beacon of parity but we’ve essentially gone from a 10-20 team landscape to like a 3 team landscape over the last two decades.

This game perfectly encapsulates the talent imbalance in the sport even amongst the top programs. Oregon generally lands somewhere in the 5-15 range every recruiting cycle & they’re absolutely getting blown off the field in this game.
