I saw where the ACC commissioner is looking at possible changes to their conference championship game and ONE of the proposals is *NOT* having the regular season #1 seed PLAY IN IT AT ALL.

Just have the game be #2 vs #3 for I guess improving playoff chances. I'm assuming regular season #1 is named 'champion' and then gets the bye? lol

I think the season extended too long with the new format. I think most have moved on from college football at this point (unless you’re a fan of these two teams) especially with the NFL playoffs going on now.

Probably should just go old school & crown the champion with the best record/tie breaker at the end of the regular season.

If you win your conference you can get a spot in the playoffs but you shouldn’t be guaranteed a bye like Arizona State & Boise State were. The four top ranked teams should get the bye regardless of what conference they’re in.

Honestly making it as a backup QB in the NFL isn’t the worst gig. That’s probably still his most optimal outcome over a position switch.

Eagles fan from the area. Went to Kansas State to play for Wentz’s college coach. Played well enough to get noticed by OSU.
