I never do these or even take them seriously, but I hate the AP list so much that it’s time for some degeneracy:

1. Michigan
2. Georgia
3. Washington
4. Ohio St
5. Penn St
6. Florida St
7. Notre Dame
8. USC
9. Texas
10. Oregon
11. Oregon St
12. Utah
13. Oklahoma
14. UCLA
15. Duke
16. LSU
17. Bama
18. Fresno St
19. Ole Miss
20. UNC
21. Washington St
22. Colorado
23. Miami (FL)
24. Missouri
25. Kansas

The hardest part for me is what to do with ND. I strongly considered them at 5.

That’s a good list, I’ll raise you on the degeneracy.

This is one of the most wide open years we’ve had in years. I think Washington has looked better than anyone even if they didn’t play any top 25 teams. ND/OSU will sort itself out this weekend. I think Georgia is probably the most talented again but it’s concerning they struggled against a mediocre USC defense. Still isn’t a game on their schedule where I think they lose though. Michigan hasn’t played anyone and won’t until penn state and Ohio state. Florida State could either go undefeated or lose 3 ACC games. Texas still looks like a team that will drop a big 12 game or two that they shouldn’t. Can’t take Penn state seriously until they beat Michigan or OSU and not trip up against the Iowa’s of the world. PAC 12 will probably cannibalize itself unfortunately but if I’m backing one it’s Washington for now. This year could be the ultimate year for team chaos. Would of been a great year to start the 12 team playoff…

Lacerated liver for Hunter

The clown from CSU who delivered the hit has been getting death threats, which is too far. Instead he should be getting a season ending suspension as it is blatantly clear what his intent was. If he goes without consequence then people should just constantly wreck star players after the play is over.

Agreed about everything

Apparently their 1-2 RB on the depth chart are out this week as well. It’s been rumored McNamara is still pretty banged up from his injury in fall camp before the year started. Iowa just has no faith in what’s behind him the QB depth chart.

So that’s gonna be a pretty tough task for McNamara going up against Penn State’s pass rush given those circumstances.

I think there’s a fundamental misunderstanding of Georgia's offense and it's in the area that makes me personally so concerned.

You look at stats from last year and they had a ton of explosive plays. But look at the portion of those that barely qualified for the Explosive (20+ yd) tag. It's outlier level of high. Georgia was a sustained chunk offense.

There's a stat floating out there about how they had 3 drives of 12+ plays against South Carolina and only got 3 Points. This is used as evidence that they're moving the ball just fine. But missing Stetson's legs and the diminishing offensive weapons are going to show up most in the RZ. This is a major red flag because it fits the expected pattern of what it would look like if it was going to impact scoring in the long term.

How the balls are Colorado a -21 underdog on the road? I know Hunter is fantastic and all but that seems like way too much of a spread.

This is the first matchup that can potentially really exploit Colorado’s weaknesses. Sanders is the most pressured QB in the entire country so far. Colorado doesn’t pass protect well nor do they run block that great. On defense they don’t really stop run nor do they really have a great pass rush.

Sanders translating his success from a lower to the P5 level is honestly pulling their team up so far. They obviously got some good pass catches as well. But they’re kind of living off the old adage right now “when you got a QB, you got a shot”.
