I’m just getting caught up on the day now, but as a staunch “Why do people forget Dr. Jekyll Rattler is still great?” guy, this is some cursed shit.

I cannot stress how not worth your time these Georgia game are. I would tell a neutral fan not to bother with any game on the schedule right now — Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, whatever. Pure slogs.

None of the top ten teams have looked dominant so far three weeks in. It looks like a 12 team playoff this year might have potentially been pretty crazy with more parity at the top than usual.

This matchup with South Carolina would have scared me if I was a Georgia fan. Beamer & Rattler have shown they can get up for one game. They usually blow it away in a larger sample but for one game they can play at high level.

So Brian Ferentz apparently beyond the 25 points per game stipulation (defensive touchdowns count towards that total number). Apparently the other stipulation & it’s &/or situation is 7 wins on the year which I believe includes the bowl game possibility.

Obviously they’re not close to being on pace for that 25 points a game average. But I think the 7 wins could be attainable with how bad the rest of the Big Ten West has looked.

Luke Lachey probably their best offensive weapon just got knocked out the game with what looks like a nasty a lower leg injury.

Well, I expected VT to struggle to finish on offense but I also expected more from the defense. Also not THIS much scoring struggle. Basically I figured a very close game with 1-3 point margin for VT. Rutgers has done a good job finishing their chances, VT hasn't and that's that so far. Drones is looking very hesitant at times. He's supposed to be the future guy so I like getting the info.

My favorite thing about this is I'm not in a boiling rage. Nothing here is totally unexpected within the context of where things stand and the level of malfeasance Pry has to fix. It could be a loss, but it's not what I'd consider a bad loss. I've seen a lot of bad losses. I like that some form of competence has returned. That's really all I've ever wanted for years.

And if you find you've gotta watch VT, Tuten is the guy on this roster to watch. He's not a physically dominant RB at this point, but he's a smart runner. Good vision and timing. Just takes the yards.

Mack Brown is an energy vampire who feasts during the post-game handshakes is my favorite CFB bit in at least a decade.

I thought Jimbo hates the poors was undefeatable. What a fool I was.

Taking out his first few years as he inherited a dumpster fire there but since he got things going & up to their current standard this is easily the worst Alabama team under Saban.

I think they could get Milroe to where they need him to be by the end of the year. But this is not the first season of decline for the OL and it feels like what’s ultimately sinking the offense to me. Short of putting out a Caleb Williams type of talent, no one is running the table without that unit getting the ship righted.

Buchner is a complete non-entity, but I think everyone already knew that. Including Saban.

I think they could at least ride Milroe’s legs to like 10 wins. Kind of puzzling they pulled the string on him so quick given what’s behind him with Buchner & Simpson.

USF’s pass rush was whipping Bama’s OL today which was something I thought I would never see.

Honestly & it was the case last year as well with a more talented QB in Young but their pass catchers aren’t very good either. Burton is the best & it’s not like he really scares you. Bama has usually had at least one if not two pass catchers that could beat you.

Josh Heupel is going to sprout wings and fly away if he jumps around any more. Can’t say I blame him.
