This Deion hype is going to make his inevitable hubristic fall a lot funnier.
I’m hoping it works. Would be good for college football if he can reestablish Colorado as a power and pull up the Big 12 (when they get there). Might feel different if he were at one of the big schools, or Florida State

College games took forever, they needed to change that. They took longer than NFL games did.
They’ve always been longer though. It’s part of the uniqueness. They tried the speed up rules about 15 years ago and it didn’t go over well. Teams exploited it.

You’ll see fewer comebacks. More upsets too I guess but the sport is lopsided so I’m not sure that it will matter much.

Deion is playing with house money at Colorado. It’s not gonna be a high bar there to be considered a success & his celebrity should up their recruiting profile to their point they’re getting players they historically wouldn’t land (at least not in the internet recruiting era). The schedule should get softer moving forward without Texas & Oklahoma too.

They’re gonna be terrible this year that just is the reality of the situation. The roster just isn’t good. But if he does have success going forward to the point bigger schools comes calling he’s probably gone.

I'm always cringing at people on camera at these games. Lots of people acting goofy in ways that dishonor their clans.

That's why when I used to go to VT games with tickets from a crowd that sat in Crowd View Central, all I'd ever do was stand there and stare intently at the camera. No shenanigans.

His legs are really all he has. He can’t make adequate enough decisions when trying to throw the football even if he may he some arm talent.

Yeah, was noticing he seemed to only have a single route in mind every play. Meanwhile Kaliakamandnais was at least reading blitzes as they came and throwing to the quick routes to counter them.

Wish I caught which Cardinal that was who saw the hit on King coming, so he slid off his coverage to wait for the inevitable fumble to scoop it. But I'm listening to music and I won't check the box score later.
