I thought he already had 4 years left on his deal, correct? And I thought I read his contract had a clause that if he won the ACC tournament, an automatic 2 year extension kicked in.

Regarding Keatts, this could end up being a fluke, or it could be a springboard into something awesome but he's done something that hasn't been done since Valvano. It's easily the programs biggest accomplishment since that time.

Especially considering how awful the team limped along at the end of the season coming into the ACC Tourney. It's amazing how many times you'd see State leading by 10 at halftime, but then get the final score update that they lost by 10. Gotta be one of the most bi-polar and inconsistent programs out there...they'll beat Duke @ Duke then lose to UNCG at home the next game? They'll beat a few top teams to get ranked inside the top 20 then immediately lose like 7 of their next 10 games against lesser teams until the tumble out of the rankings.
