Gonzaga should field a Football team and join the Pac-12, that'll make them have to "compete" against bigger schools more often.
i was there. not a bad game for my first in person since about 2014So I guess we aren't a college hoops state anymore since hoops season has been going on for about 3 weeks now, yet one has revived this thread from the dead
So who else tuned into the State vs Nebraska game? Wolfpack won but it took 4 overtime sessions and being down double-digits to make victory happen.

Bennett's magical run at overachieving seems to have ended rather quickly.UVA lost to JMU!
wait... how the actual f*** did they end up losing?Ah, NC State…never change. And by that, I mean please change.
Really? You have to ask? They NC Stated the hell out of that game.wait... how the actual f*** did they end up losing?
Seriously, give the Wolfpack women a watch sometime. They're really good and fun to watch. They're arguably the best hoops team in the state, men or women, I'm not kidding when I say that. Unlike with the men's teams, the women stay all 4 years so they get some continuity.
My niece plays for Boston College. Those young ladies are serious competitors.
Seriously, the men's game has peaked. One and done, re-alignment, talent going overseas to get paid, Raycom/JP biting the dust, etc. It's not what it was even 10 years ago.
The women's game has become more of a watch for me in the past 3-4 years, especially the tournaments. Better continuity, players stay all 4 years, much less "hero ball", etc.

NCAA punished Oklahoma State pretty hard a month ago, postseason ban and other stuff. NCSU gets some leniency here, no postseason ban.

Gotta be able to make the post season before a ban actually hurts.
