The first of 4 or 5 dominoes falling for the Heels today with Kessler...not surprising. Going to be an interesting chess game happening soon with our coach and some Ram's clubbers about the exit strategy for him as well. Some say he wants to stay until he hits a 1000 and outstay K. Can't see it happening. Quite a quandary.

Not nice to say but Billy has always reminded me of Eddie Munster. Just hoping the band-aid gets ripped off soon and we can deal with the fallout. The lack of the fundamentals this year was hard to watch.

Matt is an old friend but that being said I DO NOT care to revisit those or the Guthridge times

This tournament is making me realize how much my interest level depends on the NC teams being at least somewhat involved.
I'm a pack fan (Can judge) but yeah I watch more when there are teams and rivals that are in. but I did watch the Loyola first half. and enjoyed it. But also with the days being fudged doesn't help either..

Sports radio shows have been complaining about how this tournament has been "awful" because the blue bloods aren't in it. Well, this is what happens when you embrace one and done, eventually the Senior laden teams of Loyola and such take over.

And, so what if Duke/Kentucky/UNC are out. The last thing college hoops needs is to be like college football or the NBA and have the same damn teams year after year. Let Oral Roberts and Abilene Christian have their shining moments.

Very confusing that any Tar Heel “booster” would think Roy is replaceable.

Not sure replaceable is the word. No one really expects that kind of success to occur again given the current BB landscape. However, if the rumors are true and a mass exodus of 7-9 players who transfer or turn pro when they have a free year to stick around, there's trouble in the locker room. Parents behind the scenes and on social media are openly voicing their displeasure.

Think about what an exodus such as that would do to recruiting moving forward? I don't think he would bolt or be let go now but a more aggressive succession plan of action will be launched.

Well said. It was obvious early on that Roy had lost the team. I have seen this before. See previous post. Time to move on.
