I was originally going to say top 3. I feel like he's a hair below Jokic.
I changed my post by the way. MacKinnon is too good to disregard like that. They are pretty equal in talent.

I'm struggling to find an Anthony Davis comparison. He's 32 but still in his prime. Right now I mentioned Tavares but AD is better than Tavares. My other thought was Kucherov because of age, but Kucherov is better than Davis. So maybe someone between those two guys.

Joe Thornton 10 years ago?

OG listed as QUESTIONABLE for tomorrow vs. Rockets.

All things considered that's great news for the Knicks. He's not gonna play but it does not appear that it was a major injury.

I read somewhere that the Mavs had concerns over Luka's conditioning before signing him to a supermax deal.
Even if it's true, so what. That was years ago, he's a top 5 player, fellow top 5 player Jokic always comes into training camp fat and sloppy, and Denver would never trade him for AD.

I'd make the trade too if I'm the lakers but it appears to be an ongoing problem. Interesting video here looks at it from both sides. The Mavs know more than we do so who knows. Will b a fun game to watch when they play each other Feb 25.

Thats why the Mavs should have insisted on more. Luka would have wanted around $350 mill but after being traded he isn't eligible for that anymore. He may lose out on around $130 mill because Lakers can only sign him for around $220 mill.

Tonight was a trap game..good to see them battle through.Brunson did Brunson things when they needed it most. What an assassin

Rumors are that the Liberty sent good offers for both Satou Sabally and Natasha Cloud. Nobody wants to trade with us.

Every phone call is going to be Leonie Fiebich getting brought up, the Liberty laughing at that, and that's pretty much it. She's become that sort of player who's absolutely not going anywhere but people still think they can ask for some reason.

It sounds like Dallas would have done the Sabally trade for Laney-Hamilton but the Liberty wouldn't do that. Which is good. The whole point of the Satou Sabally trade would have been to add her to the team, not to replace a part with her.

Aye, are the Mavs trying to win the Crossfit Games?

Find another player to carry water on defense when you are that good at hooping and in your prime. LeBron and a litany of elite offensive players have been hidden on defense in playoff basketball since the beginning of time. It’s actually pretty rare for those guys to guard the other best offensive players on the other side. If your NBA playoff game is also turning into a track meet you’re also doing it wrong.

This trade will haunt the Mavericks forever.
