There's been plenty of bad ones, but they've had some good picks in the last 10-15 years. The problem was they didn't make corresponding moves to support them.

Porgizinis was a good pick
Hardaway at 24
Chandler at 23
Galinari at 6
Lee at 30
Ariza at 43

Those are all good picks. a lot of shit ones too

I mentioned Lee earlier. and yes the Unicorn was a good pick but he couldn't stay healthy unfortunately. I'd take Quickley over everyone else on this list.

Bottom line tho is simply how absolutely awful the Knicks are at drafting basketball players. It's almost impossible to screw up as much as the Jets have screwed up in drafts over the years but the Knicks actually make the Jets look like genius's...lol

BTW: It just dawned on me after all these years knowing you and seeing it hundreds of times when you post something...your avatar is a picture of Christopher and Paulie Walnuts walking thru the snow at the Pine Barron's in Jersey in probably the funniest Sopranos episode ever and withought a doubt in my top 3 Sopranos episodes of all time "Pine Barron's".

What can I tell ya...I'm a bit slow as I get older....hah.

Knicks didn't even draft Quickley. But let's not forget Mitch.

As was pointed out already...IQ was drafted by the Knicks in an prior agreement with the Wolves. Yes MRob is starting to look like a very good pick as well...no doubt.

And RJ, if we want to be totally transparent, sure he's not Zion or Morant, but he's turning out to be a real solid draft pick as well. Knicks have definitely upped their game over the past couple of seasons drafting players...no question.

It sure is. It might be my favorite episode of any show, ever. Certainly at the top.

You're not gonna believe this, the guy killed 16 Czechoslovakians. The guy was an interior decorator.

Yea? his house looked like shit.

One of the classic funniest lines in any movie/TV show you name it of all-time no question!

Morant was better last year, but I think RJ has been better this season. It was supposed to be just a Zion/Morant and everyone else class, but RJ is getting into that conversation.

That said, if Zion stays healthy long-term, Morant/RJ and anyone else from that draft class aren't catching him.

Yeah I guess just looking back at draft history for the NBA its hard to know who really drafted who when involved in a trade.

Drafting is only half the story. The Knicks haven’t signed any rookie they drafted since Charlie Ward.
Knicks have not given a multi-year contract to any draft pick this century

Sixers are the better team obviously but Knicks should have won tonight. 2nd game of a back to back and they scared the shit out of Philly after a very tough game vs Brooklyn. We have got a pretty good team here.

This is a resilient team for sure and for first time in decades, we have a team we can be proud of.

They are a solid team. Probably 8th best in ECF and in that group with Atlanta and Indiana.

Mitch being out is really starting to take its toll on the team.I love what Noel brings defensively, but he has some of the worst hands I have ever seen and is a liability on offense.Add in Gibson playing 15 minutes or so backing him up,and it really makes the injury that much more painful.Don't even get me started on Frank, guy chucked up 4 airballs last night alone.Pretty safe to slide him into the bust category.

Agreed...MRob and his rim protection is sorely missed no question.

Thing about Frankie is, every once in awhile he shows these glimpses of competency and he does play good D no matter how crappy his offense is that given night. But yeah, he might not be long for this team going forward.

I mentioned this yesterday as well when we were discussing draft picks...I'm starting to really get nervous about Toppin. He just seems so out of sorts out there on the court. Every once in awhile he shows the athtleticism he has but overall, he's been a bust as well.

There's still time for him to change some minds but Toppin reminds me of a Knick from long ago Kenny "Sky" Walker a guy who could jump thru the building(he even won a slam dunk title at the all-star break) at times showed some real skills but just couldn't put it together despite alot of athleticism.

That said, Toppin is clearly heading towards that "bust" category if he's not careful along with Kevin Knox who is another one who is probably not long for this team unfortunately.

Thank the good lord for Quickley otherwise this draft would look like most other Knicks drafts over the past two decades...yucky!!

Toppin is light years beyond Knox
Knox has zero game iq.

I wouldn't go that far..."light years" beyond Knox? I don't think so from what I've seen. He's better than Knox but not by alot thus far.

Still time to change minds but not feeling all warm and fuzzy so far about Toppin. Just being honest.

It's funny as Knox is 21 while Toppin is 23.

The age factor is what is concerning about Toppin. There just isn't a good track record of 22 year olds from college to the NBA going lottery pick to star. Doesn't mean he can't - it would be very much against the grain though.
