Boisvert was arguably best rookie in the NCAA this past season now headed to a stacked BU. Hes got top 6 upside. Hes one of the best shooting prospects they have up there with Moore, a good playmaker and plays a physical game and isnt afraid to throw a bit.. Spellacy more bottom 6 likely..
His (Boisvert) shot is lethal. Lightning fast release, never dusts it off, incredible speed, and deadly accurate. Even in slow-mo or frame-by-frame it’s almost not visible on replay.

I’ve never heard of Moore as a good shooter, maybe I’m confused with him and Lardis?

Boisvert' is gonna have a great opportunity for himself at BU next year, his progression as a player is on a wicked trajectory. Have to wonder if BU is loading up for a championship, I bet that Cole Eiserman sticks around BU next year as opposed to jumping to the Islanders.

Boisvert is not afraid to go to the middle of the ice to launch his howitzer. Many times I saw him in the slot shooting, which will be harder to get to in the pros. But the kid has one hell of a shot and some size as well. Excited to se him at BU next year. They will be stacked.

When they took Boisvert the name Doneghey dropped when talking about him was Kyle Connor, most goals in the USHL in their draft year since Connor iirc
Hm I don’t really see a resemblance, Connor’s an extremely skilled and agile water bug whereas Boisvert plays a much heavier game with less creativity/playmaking. Similar calibre of shots I would agree

personally watching the playoffs I think Kempe might be a good comparison for a ceiling for Boisvert.

think it was more to allude to how productive he was in the USHL relative to other players that are now in the NHL...Kempe is a hell of a player so that would be a nice turnout

Kinda reminds me of Wyatt Johnston's rise the year after he was drafted or Greentrees. Plus I think a lot of people downplay Boisvert's playmaking ability for some reason, not that hes elite in that regard but i think still above average. His shot does stand out though.

Kempe would be amazing, does Boisvert really have that kind of skating? I know he's good, but Kempe is faaaaast.

Sacha's one timers (not overall package) remind me of Rantanen honeslty. Maybe Svechnikov as a comparable?

Can't wait for him, Pridham and Vanacker to hit the show. We need the big, tough, fast boys.

There’s some Matthew Knies/Cutter Gauthier in there
