That would be a bit disappointing to pull in a 3C with a top 4 pick. Even if he could be the next Jordan Staal, that kind of sucks. Worse than KK anchoring a dynamic third pair.

I don't think it's disappointing if our depth is so good that he has no room for higher.

I do not agree with Musto's view on Frondell. I think AF projects very well to being a top 6 center.

Though does he bump Bedard or Nazar to wing? Tough to say, but only because they are both studs.

I think Frondell actually would compliment both boys on the wing very well because of his shot, forechecking and physical board battles.

We won't know for sure anyway for a year or two. I would like to keep both Nazar and Bedard at C but I see a world where they would do well on W too. Let's see who we end up with this year as well.

Tampa Bay did not have a big forward group at all. What they did have was a monstrous Dcore.

so yeah if we're picking outside the top 2, I'd go with Martone

but the organization seems to have no interest in him

I'd even go Hagens after Martone, but they don't seem to want him either

I don't know why they're zeroed in on Frondell and Desnoyers when Martone and Hagens are a tier above those guys

Hopefully we pick 1 or 2, so we avoid a controversial pick

I like Vansaghi, but I can see them writing him off because he's not a quick accelerator

That means they're guaranteed to have at least Desnoyers or Frondell available.

So whatever their list looks like beyond those guys is irrelevant, because they won't need to go that far down.
