And so…… stupidly obvious. Of course Pop will get his “next” best player.

There is a reason I see the Wizards (NBA) as my 5th most favourite team. The NBA sucks on its own, and the Gizzards hold a special place in suck-a-turd amongst a shit league.

So double down on the poop. DOUBLE

Lol, turned on a the Nats game for the first time in a year to watch the closing pitcher give up a walk off game winning HR. See you in 3 years.

8. Washington Wizards - Jarace Walker, F, Houston

Walker is one of the best defensive prospects in this draft class, and there’s reason to believe that he has more offensive skill than he showed during his one year at Houston. A 6’8, 240-pound forward with a 7’2 wingspan, Walker offers immense defensive versatility with solid awareness on help rotations, supplemental rim protection skills, and the ability to stick with smaller players for a few seconds on the perimeter. On offense, he should be able to knock down open spot-ups (34.7 percent from three on 101 attempts) while adding value as a passer. Before he played a winning role on a No. 1 seed at the college level, Walker was a great one-on-one scorer at IMG Academy, and could have more upside there. Walker lacks great speed to chase shooters around screens, but he provides almost everything else on defense while having some bankable skills offensively.

Giving Rui away for a Starbucks gift card keeps looking worst as he’s been great in the playoffs. Wiz :(

There is a nice competition going on between the Wiz and Caps to see who can give away the best players for nothing, more often. This is the wrong thread but the Caps have quite a history to match the Wiz.

Who remembers the ex Wiz leading the Pistons to a conf championships- Rip Hamilton, Ben Wallace, Rachid Wallace, etc. I don't.

Wiz should put together a package to trade into top 3. Word is blazers have no interest keeping the #3 pick. #8 pick last year did nothing. Start with beal and add to the package

Since they didn’t win the lottery I couldn’t care less who they draft as long as Beal is on the team and Ted won’t let grownups run the show and tank. I don’t think I’ve ever been more disinterested in this team. There’s literally nothing interesting or worthwhile about them: no potentially great young players to watch develop, shitty coaching that somehow continues to survive when competing teams are firing their coaches a year after winning the Championship or after “only” going to the Eastern Semis three years in a row, an overpaid, often-hurt, underwhelming max player who wouldn’t even be the second best option of most playoff teams, no salary cap space, and they’re about lock in even more mediocrity when they overpay to keep Kuzma and KP. They’re an embarrassing organization and I wonder if Ted starts to feel the heat when Snyder leaves as the Wizards could quickly become the biggest joke in town. They’ve long had Snyder and the Commies as a shitscreen but that could be changing.

Add to that they owe the Knicks a 1st in the next 3 years..brutal mismanagement from Ted. They need to sink a lot lower before they can meaningfully improve.

Kuzma should run unless he just cares about getting that bag.

I really spent the last 5 months hyping myself up because of a hefty Jason Day PGA Championship futures bet, watched him win last week over Scottie Scheffler, and now he's basically done after 18. I'm in the mud right now.
