After what looked like a sure 3 man playoff ended with 2 guys collapsing late in the Valspar. Another first time winner On the PGA Tour.

Then I remembered LIV was in Tucson, tuned in on the CW app (LOL) just in time to see a 3 man playoff, where Danny Lee wins in his 2nd LIV event with a silly hole-out putt from off the green on the 2nd hole of the playoff. I must say it was really nice to see a whole bunch of the other Pros actually hanging around to watch the playoff and there was an immediate Champaign explosion on the green. Was pretty fun.

Some good golf being played right now for spectators.

The Wizards are a joke. Beal is a dud and has arguably the worst contract in the NBA. They’ve been trying to build around him as the centerpiece for four years now and they’re in the worst place they’ve been since that process has started.

2-8 in their last 10 and they have the 6th worst points percentage in the NBA despite being close to the luxury tax and having a max contract player.

The absolute best thing that could happen to this franchise would be a house cleaning starting with Unseld and Beal. The only hope they have of being relevant any time soon is for Beal to request a trade and for them to fire Unseld. Tommy’s job should be on the line as well.

Was a critical game and Beal didn't show up. When they have kuzma, beal, KP playing generally they have a decent chance of a win but once one of them is out...no mas.

Also the Capitals could really help themselves in the dying days of this season for better tanking techniques that the 'Zards are exhibiting.

UConn looks really good
Picked them to go to the Final Four, feeling pretty good about that bet so far. Had Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, and UConn in the semis with Texas taking the whole thing.

Best bet I ever made was putting money on UConn during the Big East Tournament to win the National Championship during the Kemba era. They needed to win five games in a row just to get to the tournament since they wouldn’t have gotten an at-large spot and after game three I made the bet; I had the same feeling about them then that I had after Game 3 of the Caps/Columbus series… couldn’t explain why but I just felt like they looked like they were a team of destiny.

(Disclaimer: as a kid growing up in CT, UConn basketball was like a religion up there since the Whalers were the only pro gig in town and I still love UConn basketball even after having not lived there for almost 30 years. Jim Calhoun is still my favorite coach ever and guys like Kevin Ollie, Ray Allen, Richard Hamilton, Emeka Okafor, and Ben Gordon were no different to me than Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and the rest of the mid-90’s Bulls.)

@g00n (or anyone)…..know anyone using this?

Considering it. Starting a personal multi-year golf training plan/journey, culminating in a dream trip to the UK for a buddy‘s 50th in 2025. I joined a local place here that gives me unlimited indoor time in Trackman bays…..loving it so far, but just trying to get my golf muscles back right now.
