Sweden completely dominate and deserve to win by quite a margin, but a 2-1 win feels like a loss. A lucky, fluke own goal mean they are ahead of us on goals scored. We need to get a point against France now.

Only making one substition and not playing your best striker when you need a goal is a joke the Swedish temporary coach with Janne out due to Covid.

What?
Payet has never made a defensive play all his life.
Ronaldo has met France 5 times. He has 0 goal, 0 assist, and all were poor games for him (including one injured as you pointed out, and quite ironically in Portugal's only win).

That's just CR7 when he has to face good teams at the international level; Lahm used to have a leash with Cristiano's name on it. :sarcasm:

I haven't followed these guys too closely but this Kristoffer Olsson character looked absolutely phenomenal.

Werner scored but he's really not been very good in this game. Doesn't look like he's ever played with his teammates before.

He pressed well, but like our other forwards wasn't involved enough for most of the match & Timo isn't the dribbler that Sanabry are to drop deep to collect the ball. Koch did nicely deputizing at the 6, but he's no Kimmich...and Ginter on the right is always gunna leave the attack poorly supported; despite his assist.
