I actually thought - for 50 minutes at least - that was one of our better games of the year. I mean, with all the chances we got, how do you not score more than two goals??

Barring that epic collapse during the last 10 seconds, I think people would actually agree with me here.
We should look good against teams like Philly. They are a nonplayoff team afterall. If we dont look good against those teams, that would be a terrible sign. Next three games are against playoff bound teams. Can we look good against them?

If they are on the backend of a back to back starting the backup goalie? There is a shot. Otherwise I'm gonna go with a big fat no.

I personally think the loss against Philly breaks their backs and things actually get worse over the next 20 games.

Yeah we’re a veteran team that’s terrible and it’s the holidays. Not a great recipe for us to turn it around. But who knows the spark for last seasons run was getting wrecked by the Stars and cancelling the Sphere trip. Maybe Trotz and Bruno needs to cancel everyone’s Thanksgiving dinner today and make them bag skate.

I’m officially at the point that I don’t want them to salvage the season. I want them to finish the season exactly where they’re at in the standings right now. If Trotz can sell off some older players at the trade deadline, all the better.

I had the same sentiment early last year before they started turning it around, but we haven't quite had the first wave of rebounding yet. There are some really solid picks in the top 7ish next summer. Draft high and try again next year

Whether we're the first pick or the seventh pick I have zero confidence the current regime will make the right decision. And even if through some miracle they did I have zero confidence he would be developed correctly.

Same - with Trotz's comments, I don't think a firing is coming. If they won't make the right changes, I hope they see how bad this situation really is.
