Yeah, I tend to be more positive in general myself. Even when it doesn't make sense to be.That's a lot harsher than I'm normally thinking, but yeah, in darker moments I've gone there.
But this is a dismal situation. Not sure what silver linings we can actually conjure into being here. The product is unwatchable and not improving—may be even regressing with some guys doing little more than dress and skate circles. The coaching sucks. The team is built wrong. We have almost no cap. We're paying guys to play on other teams. We don't play young guys. We waive NHL players only to start looking for a replacement at the same position. We've got guys locked in to long term contract that aren't worth the money; they make RyJo's contract look not bad at all. The upcoming draft looks shallow.
I guess the good news is Saros is playing well and some of the kids look alright at times.

Players who remain emotionally attached get passionate even during practice and let's be honest, it's far from the first scuffle at a practice.
