To be fair, one of them did not belong in the lineup. The team is better off now and far better off for the future giving Schenn's ice time to someone younger.

You could say that about a lot of the guys Trotz has found in Crackerjacks boxes this season.

Interesting that we lost a roster F and roster D and got back no one that can play this year. Another move very likely before Friday IMO (even just waiver pickups). We need depth.

Dubas also traded for Schenn in Toronto, and Schenn generally got good reviews there for his role in their playoff that year. Him and O'Reilly both. So maybe Dubas really does just want to keep him for the same leadership/intangibles stuff that mesmerized Trotz into signing him?

I mean Novak started the boston game in top 6 and ended the game with less time on ice than everyone including freaking Bellows. Bruno doesnt want to and doesnt know how to use him. Trading him for Bunting screams Bruno wants to be tough to play against. I hope im wrong
