I don't think Jones has done poorly. Not his best game, but if the defense is going to let the Preds have a picnic with the puck in front of him all night there's not much he can do. That last goal was mainly about the Dmen doing a terrible job, imo.

Holy sheee it. Preds in total control now.

LOL like they haven't been this entire game.

I'm not impressed. Where is the vaunted Kings puck-possession game? Haven't seen it much at all this season.

Quick probably saves 2 out of the 3.

Watch Kopitar on his shift before the 3rd goal, never seen him look that bad. He was beaten to the puck time after time and looked completely lost.

one reason for that is currently playing home games in Florida. Willie Mitchell was very good at controlling the ice and generally had strong breakouts. He usually could control the pace of the game. They really miss him back there. And that has had an effect on them being trapped in their own end too long.

.

The Preds have it tonight. The Kings are getting beat at their own game, especially the last two goals.

Probably.

And we can't blame it on the Voynov situation, because our defense pretty much sucked with him in the lineup as well.

You know, that's the problem of making it to the very top. It's extremely hard to stay up there. Kings are finding that out. Gotta keep what got you there and they seem to have forgotten how they did it.:sarcasm:

Bob Miller likes Nashville a bit too much
Really, if you've ever been there, it is one heck of a fun place to go. Out at Opryland, huge mall, with all kinds of things going on. Downtown where he was there on Broadway, side by side bars with music coming from them. I lived there for a little over a year and had a blast. Opryland Hotel is fantastic place to go see too.

Except when he had a 20 game goalless streak or so?

He's losing the board battles that he usually wins. Getting beaten defensively. At least when he was having those goal scoring droughts he was generating offense and playing solid defense. I don't see much of either happening right now on either side of the puck.
He just doesn't seem happy or motivated so far this season.
