But if you add butter, cheese, salt, pepper and leftover gravy to just about anything, wouldn't it be good? I mean, if you have to add all that to a food, doesn't it mean the food isn't very good to begin with?
I just finished watching the game and the only report I have to make is that NHL Gamecenter Live is still worse than it was several years ago and I can't believe I got tricked into purchasing it again and I want my money back. If you don't start watching the game before it ends you can't watch it AT ALL until the next day when it has been archived. So by getting home at 10:35 instead of 10:25 I could not watch the game on Gamecenter Live. Thankfully there was a free Center Ice preview and I DVR'd that. But then it wasn't thankful because I didn't enjoy the game that much.
Seriously? Skinner, Staal, Staal, Lindholm, Rask, Gerbe all haven't scored and the problem is Terry and his 9 minutes of ice time?
Terry isn't the problem. Problem is me writing my unclear finnish thoughts in the middle of the night while one cat is meowing food from me and the other one is sleeping on my belly.
Actually I liked our group last 2 periods. I just hope that Staals, Skinner will find their scoring touch.
Nothing will ever be as bad a fail as when ESPN had the Florida Panthers logo as us in the playoffs.
If you load anything up with butter and jelly and a slice of ham, it would be good. Yet people still eat biscuits.
If you cover anything with tomato sauce, a thick layer of cheese, and 6 types of meat and vegetables, it would be good. Yet people still eat pizza crusts.
Grits are like that. They're a vehicle for whatever you're putting in them. Eating them plain is like eating a plain biscuit. Not horrendous, but kind of blah.
cats are awesome aren't they. and don't let him get you down, he yells at me all the time to
Yeah, I get that, and thus why I asked the question. I view grits as kind of like Rice or Pasta, or even oatmeal, where you have to load them up to other stuff to make them palatable. The difference I've seen with grits, and why I asked the question, is if they fall into the same category, why do they tend to get such special reverence for some? I've lived in the north, south and midwest and have never, ever heard someone say, "Oh, you gotta try their rice" Yet down in the South, numerous people have told me I have to get the grits when I go to certain restaurants. I think it's just more tradition based vs. actual taste based, and that's fine.
Re: your post though, a well made, buttermilk biscuit is just fine on it's own for me. I could eat them all day without anything on them as long as they are fresh and done right. It's when they are not fresh, not done right or are too dry that I don't like them.
the flying biscuit's grits are legitimately delicious and worth ordering, but i have no idea what is in them and it can't possibly be healthy
they are so fluffy and good
I'll have to give them a try. That's the place over in Cameron Village?
guess no word on wisniewski yet?
leg kinda buckled a bit. gonna guess 7-10 days.

I haven't seen anything reported. Hard to tell from the stream/replay I saw, but it looked like he couldn't put much, if any weight on it. Just a guess, but I fear it's going to be a lot longer than 7-10 days.
That's a fair analysis. I don't know about the Flying Saucer, it's probably an exception to the rule,
