Montreal plays in spurts....they need 18 for 60....no passengers move your feet for 1 60 minute game.

They did that against Columbus the other night. It would definitely be nice to see it game in and game out. But the 2 points are all that matter in the end.

I think we've played fine. Were holding our own against a tough Opponent, with added distractions. We all wanted more scoring added, it didn't happen. I still like our team enough not to whine

I've always said that the best player on the PK is the goalie. You can't have a good PK when your goalie wets the bed at every turn. Look at Price's PK save % before/after Therrien.

It's true that the goalie is priority #1. But #2 is effective defensive coverage that doesn't leave gaping holes in high-danger areas, which was what the Habs's D was doing for a couple of months. It's vastly improved.

It's been weird watching him tonight. On more than one occassion he's had the puck and passed behind him instead of leading the rush. He's also passed off instead of wiring shots from the point.

He's played a really solid game but I expected to see some more fire from him.
